At the higher education level, educational quality must be regulated and constantly evaluated so that competent professionals are formed who satisfy the demands of society, employers and the labor market in general. The implementation of quality management systems in universities is an increasingly common practice in the educational field. These systems provide a framework for higher education institutions to continually improve their processes and services, with the aim of ensuring educational quality and meeting the needs of their students and other stakeholders.
Over the years, extensive research has been carried out and numerous studies have been conducted on the implementation and effectiveness of quality management systems in universities. This research provides a solid base of knowledge and good practices that can be used by institutions to optimize their processes and achieve excellence in education. However, we must accept the reality that relevant education is not enough, since the constant changes in the world impact the work of universities, which demands that they be in constant evolution, allowing them to satisfy both the educational and social systems. which is addressed in this work.
