Synopsis

Student participation should not be limited to learning subjects, but to activities that collaborate with the integral life of children and adolescents, and one way to achieve this is by establishing educational programs. An educational program is conceived as a set of systematized activities that intervenes in various aspects of education and presents objectives related to the educational improvement of the institution.
In this sense, it is considered that the organization and execution of an educational program related to the better management of free time can be a beneficial tool for adolescents. The present research seeks to answer the question: What is the effect of an educational program on the use of free time in adolescents? In order to support its importance and its generalization in different educational units. This study is carried out based on the theory of Nola Pender (American nurse), who maintains that a person's well-being is not restricted to their physical or biological health, but also social, psychological, etc.; That is, it seeks to achieve the integral well-being of the person through healthy lifestyles.
