Synopsis

This research focuses on the study of the influence of the thought of Víctor Andrés Belaunde and José Carlos Mariátegui on the axiological formation of university teachers. Both authors, key figures in the development of Peruvian thought in the 20th century, approached the problems of the country and of Latin America from different perspectives, and their ideas continue to be relevant in the contemporary debate on education, culture and politics. The study is divided into four chapters, which explore different aspects of the relationship between the thought of Belaunde and Mariátegui and the axiological formation of teachers. The first chapter is dedicated to the study of the thought of Víctor Andrés Belaunde. His biography is addressed, highlighting the events and experiences that influenced his intellectual formation and his vision of the world, his humanist thought, his position regarding Marxism, his legacy in Peruvian politics, culture and education, and his insertion in the philosophical and cultural tradition of the country. Finally, his vision of the crisis of the modern world is analyzed.
