Synopsis

This research addresses neuropedagogy as a fundamental tool for optimizing attention span, specifically in a higher education setting where the university context is characterized by complex information, academic overload, and constant exposure to digital stimuli. In these cases, sustained attention is a critical factor for meaningful learning and successful academic performance. However, despite its importance, attention deficits are frequently observed in students, which can negatively impact content assimilation, active participation, and, of course, the successful completion of their studies. Therefore, it is imperative to explore didactic approaches that, based on knowledge of the brain and its processes, offer concrete and effective strategies.
