Recovery of the Colonial Muleteer Trail tourist resource and its contribution to economic and cultural development in the districts of Pampachiri and Pomacocha, Andahuaylas Province, Apurímac Region, 2024: 2da Edición

This edition presents a study on the recovery of the Colonial Muleteer Trail in Apurímac, based on a Community-Based Rural Tourism (CBT) management model. It not only represents a feasible heritage conservation project but also stands as a paradigm of resilient territorial development, capable of generating endogenous and sustainable economic and cultural value for historically marginalized rural communities. The central thesis of this work is that the project's viability lies not in simple physical restoration but in the ability to weave an authentic narrative that links tangible and intangible heritage, transforming a historical route into a meaningful, high-value-added tourism experience managed by its own cultural heirs. The second edition includes updated maps of the study area and revised proposals.
