Synopsis

The objective of the research was to analyze the leadership indices present in the initial level directors of RED Nº 01 of the UGEL of San Juan de Lurigancho; posing as a reference framework the Theoretical approaches related to leadership, the conditions of the local environment and the successful experiences related to leadership; all this through a predominantly quantitative analysis, but complemented with qualitative qualifications and interpretations and with the support of computerized programs; with the purpose of identifying the causes of the main parts of the problem, in such a way that we have a basis to propose recommendations that contribute to the efficient management of the Directors of the Educational Institutions.
